Strategic cooperation with suppliers in order to provide equipment and materials with specific quality and reducing the lead time is critical in petroleum projects. Stakeholder’s comments should be considered in selecting suppliers for getting a better result. In this paper, the hybrid method of analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and quality function deployment (QFD) are used to evaluate and select the suppliers. In this method, when the house of quality (HOQ) is used, the company begins with the properties the purchased equipment should have to meet their needs. It then examines which qualities of the suppliers influence the company’s needs (goals). The weights intended for the needs and the criteria in QFD method are extracted using AHP method. The results of the supplier selection process in the project-based company of PetroPars is presented as a case study using the aforementioned method.
