The study investigate the effect of privatization and ownership structure on efficiency and productivity of electricity industry's power plants. By using Data Envelopment Analysis Method and Malmquist Index, efficiency and productivity of state sector, transferred sector and private sector was calculated. This study occurred during 1388-1392.The result shows that, transferred and private sector entree to electricity industry, has been associated with increasing in productivity. Also transferred sector and private sector had been better performance than state sector. |
