Sustainable development is one of the terms that is frequently used in international legal literature and is considered one of the main policies of countries that have oil and gas resources, which has three economic, environmental and social dimensions and also has It is 17 ideals and indicators that were developed and proposed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. Also, after the objections to the mutual sales contracts and the lack of acceptance of this contractual model, finally in 2013, the new model of Iran's oil and gas contracts was introduced and unveiled. became. This article is based on a descriptive-analytical and comparative method and by referring to domestic and international laws and regulations, the provisions of the new oil contracts in the economic dimension, which is considered one of the main dimensions of sustainable development, as well as their indicators. examine to determine whether the general indicators of sustainable development in the new model of Iran's oil and gas contracts have been observed by the drafters or not. The final result of the article is that this contract model is consistent with some general indicators and dimensions of sustainable development, and in some ways it has flaws and therefore requires corrections.
